I was born in St. Andrew in Jamaica, West Indies to both my parents who were an upholsterer and seamstress by trade. I am the eldest of three children born to both parents. I attended Ardene High School before relocating to the United States in the Summer of 1984. Before relocating to the United States, I was a victim in that same year of an unfortunate incident that happened during a home invasion by robbery. (All the details will be in my Memoir which will be published next Spring to Summer of 2025 - Survivor (From Being a Victim to Being Victorious). Stay Tuned.

I moved to the U.S. and went to I.S. 252 Arthur S. Somers (Closed in 2010) and Clara Barton High School for Health Profession. I dropped out of high school, and I obtained my G.E.D.s from both the City of New York and New Jersey. I had my 1st child at the age of 17. My 1st temp job was working for PaineWebber in New York City until they relocated to New Jersey. My 1st permanent job was with Burke & Parsons, a Maritime Law firm located in New York City located on The Avenue of Americas (6th Avenue). Thereafter, I worked at a company called Coltec Industries (Aerospace) in the Legal Department and then I landed in my final job at CIBC (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce) in the year 1996 and worked in the Investment Department (High Yield) for almost 15 years but during those years, there was several merges and acquisitions which resulted in the final name of the company being known as Oppenheimer when I departed.  During my 15 years of working with this one company, I was able to obtain my bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management at Medgar Ever's College and my tuition was paid in full by the time I graduated because of the great benefits the company had to offer while employed there.  While working with Oppenheimer, I obtained my Real Estate License in 2006 when I was on maternity leave with my newborn son. When I returned back to work, I was doing real estate part time in the evening and weekends.  I retired from Corporate America in December of 2010 to relocate to the State of Georgia.

In the State of Georgia, I was able to obtain my Real Estate License there through reciprocity and operated full time doing Real Estate but concentrating more on doing inspection of homes both interior and exterior and this is known as BPO (Broker's Price Opinion). It gave me the flexibility to work from home while being able to me a mother and wife full time to my children and husband. I resided in Georgia for almost 5 years and then I relocated back to New York City and continued my Real Estate career especially in the BPO field. Being self-employed, I was pretty much the juggler meaning I have been a part of almost everything that was independent, just to name a few such as MaryKay, Herbalife, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart, Uber Driver, Lyft Driver, ProxyPics, you name it I have pretty much done it to make the income in order to make ends meet or to pay the bills. Then right before COVID-19 I decided to add another career path to my journey, and I started to pursue the Appraisal Inspector field by doing the course and then the training.  In the real estate field, I have worked with investors, buyers and sellers and closed on several deals.  I am knowledgeable in doing short sales and loan modifications as well to prevent foreclosures.

WHO I AM

In today's world with AI (Artificially Intelligence) and trying to keep up to date with market trends, I have pursued the digital world as well and a few examples are digital real estate, e-Books, e-commerce, etc. Being the entrepreneur that I am, I am always self-empowering and investing in myself by going to seminars, zoom meetings, enrolling in courses and getting different mentors for 1 on 1 mentorships which are priceless.

In addition, I am the proud mother of eight children, 4 males and 4 females, and 5 grandchildren. Only two of my children were natural birth and the other 6 were c-sections babies. I am very family oriented and is passionate about family. They have a saying that you can chose whatever you want but you cannot choose the family you were born into.

My passion is working and helping others to fulfill their dreams and improving their lives while relentlessly pursuing my personal goals. While I am not perfect, I have a huge heart filled with love one for another. It makes me feel fulfilled when I am assisting another to reach their goals and knowing that they are satisfied.
