Terms and Conditions for Coaching Services
By engaging in coaching services with Dionne Sutherland you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Coaching Services
• Nature of Coaching: Coaching is a professional service designed to support personal and professional growth. It is not a substitute for therapy, counseling, or medical services. Dionne Sutherland is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, or healthcare provider.
• Personal Responsibility: The coachee is fully responsible for their decisions, actions, and the outcomes of those actions. Dionne Sutherland will not be held liable for any consequences resulting from decisions made during or after coaching sessions.
2. Confidentiality
• Confidential Information: All personal information shared during coaching sessions will remain confidential. Dionne Sutherland will not disclose any information without the coachee’s consent, except in cases required by law.
• Legal Exceptions: If required by a court order or legal request, Dionne Sutherland may disclose information without prior notice to the coachee, in compliance with legal obligations.
3. Disclaimer of Results
• No Guarantees: Coaching is a collaborative process, but results cannot be guaranteed. The coachee's success and outcomes are determined by their own effort, commitment, and willingness to implement changes discussed in coaching sessions.
4. Legal Liability
• No Liability: Dionne Sutherland accepts no liability for the actions, decisions, or outcomes arising from coaching services. The coachee agrees to hold Dionne Sutherland harmless for any personal, professional, or financial consequences resulting from their coaching experience.
5. No Professional Advice
• Not Professional Advice: Coaching should not be construed as financial, legal, or medical advice. Dionne Sutherland is not qualified to offer guidance in these areas, and the coachee should consult professionals for such advice.
6. Personal Accountability
• Active Participation: Coaching is most effective when the coachee actively participates and engages in the process. The coachee acknowledges that progress requires effort and commitment, and they take full responsibility for applying the insights gained from coaching sessions.
7. Intellectual Property
• Use of Materials: All materials and resources provided during coaching are the intellectual property of Dionne Sutherland. They are intended for personal use only and may not be distributed, reproduced, or shared without explicit permission from Dionne Sutherland.
8. Boundaries and Communication
• Communication Outside Sessions: Communication outside of scheduled coaching sessions is welcome, but responses may take up to 72 hours. Urgent matters should be directed to appropriate professionals, and frequent communication outside of sessions may be subject to additional fees.
9. Termination of Agreement
• Termination: Either party may terminate the coaching relationship at any time with written notice. Any pre-scheduled sessions that remain will be refunded or rescheduled, in accordance with the Coaching Services Cancellation and Booking Policy found here: Booking Policy.
10. Record-Keeping
• Session Records: Dionne Sutherland may keep brief records of coaching sessions for the purpose of tracking progress. These records are confidential and will be retained for after the coaching relationship ends at the request of the coachee they will be deleted.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By continuing to engage in coaching services, the coachee acknowledges and accepts these Terms and Conditions and agrees to abide by them.
